  3. Remove the trunk liner and keep the spare tire aside. 
  4. Locate the sill plate secured by four screws. Take an adjustable screwdriver to remove those screws and place the sill plate aside. 
  5. Grab the shell of your vehicle’s right-side panel and gently pull it away. You should be able to locate the Onstar box with three connectors. 
  6. Unplug all three connectors by gripping them on the base. 
  7. Coil up the cables and store them for later. Reassemble everything back to your vehicle.
